 What true education is and how it is done

It is a debatable topic to explain what actually a true education is. There are thousands and wide variety of ideas, given by different  scholars, educationists in different social realities regarding  what can be regarded as true the education.

 History of Education- After industrialization in 16th century different forms of new curricula came into picture in Europe as well as America. As it was the time of industrialization The need for skilled education increased to fill the gap in expanding industrial setup for skilled labourers. These trends change with time and a new ways of teaching started. 

The present modern education system is one of example of it. This same education system was later adopted by different developing and third-world countries unanimously by copying the west. But there are different social settings in different societies and nations can't fit totally in this new type of education system. The students are just charming the same things endlessly from generations.

 The methods of teaching are neither innovative nor they create any creativity in students. The teacher-pupil relation has freezed into a "banking concept of education" given by Paulo Freire a famous educationist, where students are treated as empty brains filled by knowledge transmitted from teacher and there is nothing like creative learning or innate capability to learn. education come from doing things and not just by theorizing the whole knowledge. 

In our present educational system, the trend is for learning theories and a little time and resources are put for practical or experimental learning. Almost every field of study has some practicality in it. The need of the hour is to raise the demand for learning by doing not just learning from paper only. 

At present there are two categories of schools: state managed schools and it's privately managed schools. The former have sufficient revenues, infrastructure, and better teaching faculties and so on. On the contrary the latter is lacking all of this. However; people prefer to send their children to latter and even the state managed school teachers are doing this because of the good performances shown by their students. 

This is because the state managed schools lack proper evaluation system and the teachers are none answerable at all for student's performance. There are all faults from the administrative setup not from teacher only. There must be some procedure to make the teachers answerable about their student's performance. It is a human trait to become dull and less passionate with monotonous routine, but the need is to create a setup of rewards and penalties.

 This not only happens in schools but our colleges are also running the same fate. That is why children are not doing better in their subjects and choosing the irrelevant field of study with regard to their capabilities. The result is that they couldn't make best of their hard work and time. Most of the students couldn't make choice what is worth studying and What is not. The result is that we fail to acquire what we aimed for and we couldn't compete either in technical or academic fields. These students of present become the teachers of future and the results are obvious.
